Experiments on Meditation: Articulation

Performance at the 'Performance study international conference', Stanford University
2013

Experiment on the nature of consciusness in a meditative state: I spontaneously articulated whatever came to my mind without making a conscious effort in deciding what to say. Most of the time I was responding to my sensory input directly; sometimes I was putting into words the thoughts that popped into my mind. It was a rapid fire of words coming out of my mouth, some cohesive, some not. This begs the question: does articulation require the interference of the conscious mind?
